A graduate of the University of Western Australia, Dr Barr trained at the Royal Perth Hospital and University College Hospital in London.
He holds consultant haematologist appointments at Royal Perth Hospital and King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women. Dr Barr's private practice is based in West Perth.
His special interests include obstetric haematology, coagulation and bleeding disorders, haemochromatosis, general and malignant haematology.
