All drug
screens require photo ID and must be supervised unless the
requesting officer permits otherwise. A chain of
custody form is filled out for all urine drug screen collections
and you will be asked to declare any medication you have recently
taken.
Please note: The requesting officer is the
person/organisation requesting that you have the test, not the
person supervising the urine collection.
The
collection staff must adhere to strict guidelines for the
collection to be regarded as valid. You must
behave in an acceptable manner during your visit and follow the
directions of the collection staff. If you use
abusive language or display any threatening or aggressive behaviour
towards staff, you will be asked to leave and the collection will
not proceed. Unacceptable behaviour will be
notified to the Requesting Officers and unlawful behaviour will be
referred to the Police.
If you need
to have urine drug screen performed you must arrive at the
collection centre 30 minutes before the scheduled closing
time. If you are unable to produce a sample
before closing time you will be asked to attend on another
day.
You will be
asked to remove any bulky outer clothing and wash your hands before
and after collection. The collector will be in
the cubicle while you produce the sample and will check the
temperature and concentration of the sample. If
the sample fails a temperature or concentration check you may be
asked to produce another sample as per the Australian Standards
guidelines. The sample will be sealed in your
presence and you will be asked to initial the seal.
We require
full payment before the testing is performed unless we have a
purchase order from a requesting company. If you are a DCP client,
you will have your own ID card which has the purchase order
information. This must be produced or you must
pay for the testing. The current price for a
drug screen is $40 including GST. We can process
credit card payments if required. (We regret
that we cannot perform drug screens without prior
payment/arrangement).
