Biography
Kalani graduated from Manipal College of medical sciences, Pokhara, Nepal in 2004, where she was awarded the 2002 certificate of honour for Distinctions across multiple disciplines. Kalani obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians (FRACP) and the fellowship with the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (FRCPA) in 2015.
She undertook Endocrinology training at Sir Charles Gairdner and Royal Perth Hospitals and also maintains a consultant Endocrinology practice at the Keogh institute. Kalani gained her Chemical Pathology experience as a registrar at PathWest and most recently as a consultant at Western Diagnostic Pathology.
She has a keen interest in female reproductive endocrinology including infertility, PCOS and menopause. She also has an interest in adult general endocrinology, adrenal, pituitary, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
Kalani joined Clinipath Pathology in 2018 where she has a dual role as Chemical Pathologist and an Endocrinologist (on a sessional basis) at the WA Specialist Clinic.
