Anatomical Pathology
Gynaecological Histopathology
Dr Stewart is an expert gynaecological histopathologist. In addition to his role with the Gynaecological pathology team at Clinipath, Colin is a consultant pathologist at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Clinical Professor at UWA.
He has worked with gynaecological research groups nationally and internationally. Colin has published 200 peer-reviewed articles, and his advisory roles include:
- Member of the Expert Panel Royal College of Pathologists Australasia (RCPA) for Reporting Datasets in Gynaecological Malignancies
- Co-author for RCPA Datasets for Endometrial Carcinoma and Vulvar Carcinoma and RANZCOG (clinical Practice Guidelines on the Intraoperative Assessment of Endometrial Carcinoma).
Colin is also a pathology reviewer for the Australian national studies on ovarian (AOCS) and endometrial (ANECS) carcinomas, a contributor to the WHO classification of tumours of the Female Genital Tract and a member of the International Collaboration on Cancer Reporting (ICCR) committee for reporting of carcinomas of the ovary, fallopian tube and peritoneum and cervix.
