Anatomical Pathology
Breast Pathology, Cytopathology
Dr Mala Gera completed her Pathology residency at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital before entering the Anatomical Pathology training programme and completing rotations at QEII, Royal Perth Hospital, Princess Margaret Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital, and St John of God Subiaco.
Dr Gera spent part of her training in NSW at Royal North Shore and Gosford Hospitals. After completing her FRCPA in 2014, Dr Gera undertook a postgraduate fellowship year at St John of God, furthering her interest in Breast Pathology. From January 2015, she worked at SJOG as a Consultant Pathologist, joining Clinipath in November 2019.
Dr Gera’s areas of expertise include Breast Pathology. She also has special interest in Endocrine Pathology, Gynaecologic Pathology and Cytopathology.
