Dr Tampi graduated from Liverpool University (UK) and then went on to complete training in clinical and laboratory haematology at Flinders Medical Centre, South Australia and Royal Perth Hospital.
Dr Tampi's interests include the diagnosis and management of patients with myelodysplastic disorders (preleukaemias), myelomas, lymphomas, thrombosis and thrombocytopenia. Special interests are providing outpatient iron infusions for iron deficiency anaemia, the management of haemochromatosis, and he is involved in research in both these fields.
Dr Tampi's clinical private practice is based out of the WA Specialist Clinic in Osborne Park. He is also on the sessional staff at Royal Perth Hospital.
