Dr Stephen Lee
Anatomical Pathology, Dermatopathology
Dr Stephen Lee graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia in 2000. He completed his fellowship training in anatomical pathology in 2008 and subsequently completed subspecialty fellowships in gastrointestinal pathology at PathWest, QE II Medical Centre in 2010, and urologic pathology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, USA in 2012.
He was a visiting fellow in the Division of Dermatopathology and Oral Pathology at the University of California, San Francisco in 2017. In 2018 he attained International Board Certification in Dermatopathology under the auspices of the International Committee for Dermatopathology (ICDP/UEMS). He has previously worked as a consultant pathologist in both the public and private sectors.
Dr Lee has presented and published numerous research papers at international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Western Australia and is involved in teaching pathology to students in the Masters of Clinical Dentistry program at UWA. His areas of interest include urologic pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, dermatopathology and oral pathology.
